RunwayK is a unique race held on the airstrip of Kjeller Airport, which is one of the world's oldest operational airstrips.
This is a very fast and flat course. You can complete the distance walking, running or using a wheelchair.
We have a separate distance for children between 0-13 years old.
The event is open to participants of all ages and levels. Join us and run in unique surroundings!
Our distances and classes
5K
This is a unique opportunity to run on a runway! You'll be looking for a flatter and faster street race for a long time. Here there are great opportunities to set a new personal record, or just enjoy the ride in a good mood.
10K
In 2026, it will also be possible to run 10 km at the Runway race. Exactly how the race will be organized is not yet fully clear, but we will inform you as soon as we know!
Want to roll the Runway 5K? Of course you can! All participants start at the same time. There are no requirements for the type of wheelchair you use, so bring the one you feel most comfortable with.
